Since 2002, CVT Myanmar has empowered Myanmar’s youth through free vocational education and apprenticeships, supported by Switzerland and over 300 partner companies. We’ve certified 1,502 diploma graduates (1 to 3 Years Dual Apprenticeship Diplomas), 1,164 Short Vocational Training Certificates holders, and 1068 Post-Grad Certificates. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and the 2021 coup, we continue as a non-profit social enterprise, driven by experienced local professionals.
Our programs’ sustainability hinges on strong partnerships. We’re calling on all educational stakeholders—professional associations, companies, vocational institutions, and aid organizations—to collaborate in creating a vocational education system that reduces poverty and promotes ethical responsibility.
To achieve our vision of long-term sustainability, we aim to maintain existing partnerships and seek new ones in the TVET environment. This includes engaging training companies, promoting our customized curricula, and securing financial support from multinationals, foundations, and institutions. By working together, we can continue to provide vital education and training to the working-aged youth of Myanmar.
